Chemical hazards are nonliving hazards that result from substances, including solids, liquids, or vapours, which could potentially interact. Some chemicals can damage the human body if people inhale, ingest or absorb them. In addition, no worker will be exposed to a substance listed in schedule 1, table 2 of the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Code at a concentration exceeding its ceiling limit at any time
